Angela Frances “Angel” Lozeau, age 55, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at home. She was born on January 5, 1970, in St. Ignatius, Montana to Francis and Sandra (Plant) Lozeau.
Angel was raised in Arlee, Montana along with her sister and brother by their grandmother, Mary Val Plant, ever since their mom Sandy passed away.
While living in Arlee, Angel attended school in Arlee as well as in Dixon and graduated from Two Eagle River School in 1989.
She moved to Missoula, Montana and had two sons that were born exactly one year apart to the day. Angel loved them so much. They always made her happy throughout her life. While living in Missoula, she attended Mr. Rich’s Beauty College.
Angel and her sons moved to Ronan, Montana, where she worked at the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes - Tribal Forestry for many years. Angel also attended Salish and Kootenai College to accomplish her goal of earning a degree in Business Management.
Some of her favorite activities and hobbies were going to rock concerts with her sons! She liked to travel and go to exciting places for vacations. She enjoyed doing beadwork and liked to exercise. She always had fun planting her flower gardens. She enjoyed being at home with her family...relaxing.
Angel is preceded in death by her parents, Sandra and Francis Lozeau; brother James Emanuel Lozeau, grandparents, Mary Val Plant Matt and Pete Plant, Sr., grandparents, Adeline Joscum Lozeau and Alexander Lozeau.
Angel is survived by her sons, Emanuel “Manny” James Hernandez and Loren Joseph Hernandez (Cheyanne Morin), sister Ronda Lozeau, nephews, Francis (Frank) Lozeau and Anthony (Jace) Lozeau, niece Ciera Steele, great nieces, Annalia Steele Martinez and Lylah Angel Steele.
There will be a Wake beginning Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Long House in St. Ignatius with a Rosary at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday followed by Mass on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at a later date.
