AnnMarie Lee Michel was born December 6th, 2018 to Uriah Michel & Richelle Flagan in Polson, MT and passed away January 16th, 2020.
Her first home was with her birth parents & Ruth White in Dayton, MT. At the age of 3 months she went to live with her sister/mom Ana Michel & Brother-in-law/dad Tresstin Plant in Elmo, MT, her titi Shavonne Walker and brother, Uriah Jr.
She camped for the 1st time at Arlee Pow Wow and 2 weeks later participated in Elmo Pow Wow dancing in Tiny Tots with the help of her sister, Catherine.
In October, she patiently awaited the birth of her sister/niece, Hazel. She loved her baby. When Hazel would get fussy, AnnMarie would crawl right over to check on her & get impatient with mom & dad if her baby cried. On January 2nd she received her name, Day Break Woman.
AnnMarie was with us a short time but left a huge hole in our lives. It takes a village to raise a child and her village was huge.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, and Papa Earl Kenneth Lefthand.
She is survived by her parents, Uriah & Richelle. Her mom & dad, Ana & Tress. Her siblings, Hazel Plant, Uriah Jr., Zannen, Tanner, Luther, Cameron Buckskin, Catherine & Elaina Buckskin, Jaja Nichols. Her special cousins, Agatha, Robinn, Dustin, Jordan, Blake, Azelea, and Jarren-James. Her grandparents, Diane Michel, Shavonne Walker, Leslie Kallowatt, & Orsino Walker, Vanessa Jones, Nancy Sherwood and Injun Plant. Her Uncles Miah Michel, Randy Nichols, Howard Walker. Her Aunts Lucinda Michel, Kara Walker, Star Wise Spirit, Justina Big Beaver and Ce'lana Shepherd. She is also survived by her Flagan family, Michel Family, & extended family across Montana, Idaho & Canada.
