Obituary for Antoinette V. Barba
Antoinette V. Barba, age 92, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Antoinette was born July 25, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Antoinette attended and graduated from Easton High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. She married Peter J. Barba, Sr. in 1944 in N.Y. Antoinette moved to Polson, MT in 2007 to live with her sons. Her hobbies included reading, painting, and walking.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Mary Sena; and brother, Paul DeMatteo.
She is survived by her sons, Peter (Karen) Barba, and Andrew (Nancy) Barba, all of Polson, MT.
A visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson. A funeral service will be held Sunday following the visitation at Grogan Funeral Home at 2:00pm with John Payne offficiating. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family online at www.groganfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Joseph Medical Center, Polson. Antoinette will be interred in Matawan, N.J.
