Benjamin "Beni" Mataio Meafua

Benjamin “Beni” Mataio Meafua, 32, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Logan Health in Kalispell.

Beni was born on June 9, 1994, in Western Samoa. From the very beginning, his two older sisters adored their new little brother. He grew up on the YWAM Honolulu base, where he became known for being the fastest barefoot runner over the rocks. Some of the family’s fondest memories were spent watching Beni play baseball in Honolulu, ending with a local-style BBQ together.

When Beni was in the fifth grade, his family moved to Utah, and in 2013, they made Montana their home. Throughout his life, Beni shared many meaningful ministry experiences with his beloved father, including traveling with Team Xtreme and participating in power feats.

Over the years, Beni worked at various places throughout the area and made many friends wherever he went. One of his greatest passions was music. He loved spending time recording in the studio and was honored to perform at music events alongside his friends over the years.

Beni was extremely proud of his Samoan heritage. He was a true Uce to all who met him. His big personality, loyalty, and love for his friends made him someone who was deeply cherished and will not be forgotten.

Beni is survived by his parents, Tualaina and Patricia Meafua; sisters, Anastasia (Joey) Ybarra and Emily Meafua; nieces, Jaylah, KaLaya, Navy; nephews, Zaydenn and Malakai. Ben has left behind two sons that he loved deeply, Bentley Kahikilani-Tevita and Jade Kaleo Roy. Ben loved his many, many friends and will be greatly missed.

Beni’s life touched the hearts of his many, many friends and family members. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Ronan. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
