Pablo

Bonnie Kay Amrine, age 79, passed away September 12, 2026, at St. Luke Community Hospital. She was born on September 17, 1946, in Missoula, MT to John Hughes and Elsie Phillips.

Bonnie lived in Pablo most of her life. Her later years were spent caring for her late mother Elsie Garbe. She was a devoted friend whose presence and support meant a great deal to those who knew her and her friends were as dear to her as sisters. Her memory will be held with gratitude by all whose lives she touched. To one, she was a dear sister in Christ, whose encouragement and excitement in the Lord was the glue to their friendship. To another, Bonnie was pivotal in helping her face life changes of being alone.

She is survived by a half-brother, Jimmy John Hughes of Fairbanks, AK, a half-sister, Roxanna Hughes Reilly of Missoula MT, and a cousin, Claudia Phenneger of Spokane WA.

A Memorial Service is being held at 1:00 PM on Saturday October 17, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 40401 MT HWY 35, Polson Mt.
