It is with a mixture of joy and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Camille Crawford Wilde. After battling multiple health issues in the later years of her life, she passed away quickly and peacefully on March 16, 2024, at the age of 79.
Camille was born on July 12, 1944, to Fern and Maurice Crawford in Moroni, Utah. Her family moved to San Diego, California when she was 12. She married Lloyd Dustin Amrine in 1964. They moved to Montana in 1967, and eventually settled in Polson, Montana in 1976. Camille and Dusty divorced in 1980, and Camille met and married Gilbert Wilde the following year.
A devoted wife and mother above all else, Camille found her greatest joy in nurturing her family. She loved being a mom and grandma. She also had a passion for crafting, sewing, and quilting. She poured her creativity into her quilts, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected her love for her family and friends. Camille had a contagious laugh and a zest for life. She cherished spending time with her friends, creating memories filled with laughter and joy. Her generous spirit was evident in the thoughtful gifts she gave and the special occasions she made unforgettable.
She is survived by her children: Michael Amrine (Lita), David Sean Amrine (Maria), Annette Wills (Adam), Lisa Hale (Ron), and Nichole Wilde, and four stepdaughters: Lynn Bingham, Vicki Baker, Peggy Watkins and Laury Roper. She is also survived by her sisters Karleen Anderson and Monica Kelly, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
