Carlos Charles Perry

October 3, 1958 — October 11, 2025

Polson

Carlos Charles Perry was born October 3, 1958, in Spokane Washington to Carlos Sr. and Louise Perry. Carlos passed away at his home in Polson. Carlos grew up in Spokane on Hawthorne Street alongside his older sister Cathy and his younger brother Norman.

Carlos met his wife, Pamela Dupuis at Shadle Park High School and they were married in May of 1978. In July of 1980 their only daughter Stephanie was born followed by her three brothers, Sean, Spencer and Shane. Carlos was a devoted and wonderful father, filling his kid’s childhoods with endless games of driveway basketball, softball and baseball games, riding bikes for miles in Jette Lake, sledding and skating on frozen Flathead Lake, and watching hours of WWF! Carlos was the biggest kid himself, never losing that joy for life! The best compliment he ever got was from his kid’s friends who always asked for them to bring their “big brother” Carlos along on any adventures!

Carlos was a talented artist, passing that trait down to his kids along with his love of cars. He owned an auto-detailing business in Polson for years with lots of repeat customers who were always thrilled how great their cars, trucks or boats looked when Carlos was done!

Carlos was a life-long New York Jets fan, instilling the love of football in all of his kids having each one pick their team out young. He taught them fan loyalty too, no fair-weather attitudes! Steph remains a Vikings fan, Sean a Jets fan, Spencer a Broncos fan, and Shane a Seahawk fan.

Carlos was a proud grandfather to Aleysia Black, Ryan Perry, Zoey Camel and Xena Camel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his former father-in-law, Donny Dupuis.

He is survived by his four grown children, his four grandchildren, his former wife Pamela Dupuis, his sister Cathy and her son Paul, as well as his brother Norman and his children Steven and Sarah. Also surviving Carlos is his former mother-in law Shirley Ambrose and his former sister-in-law Tina Marie Bean.
