Darlene Roylance Wilder, age 20, of Polson, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Darlene was born on January 3, 2000 to Tyrone Burke and Weemus Wilder.

She was a special baby from day one. She was the first baby born in the new year of 2000. She was Lake County’s Millennium baby which earned her all kinds of recognition.

Darlene was the baby of six children. She loved her animals, outdoor activities and just spending time with family and her significant other Douglas Wynne. Darlene was a very caring person. She had many friends of all ages. She had a charismatic personality and would light up a room when she entered. Her best friends were her sisters and brothers. She loved her nieces Lilly Rene Bigby and Remington Rose Mays and nephews Kruz Alexander Preciado, Jr. and Kyrie Sean Preciado.

Darlene was preceded in death by her grandmother Darlene Roylance Wilder, whom she was named after and grandfather Austin Wilder; grandmother Louise Marie Burke, grandfather Tyrone Gopher, Lisa Bigby, Andrew Wilder, Sean Bigby, Glenda Burke, Wilma Burke and Clarinda Burke.

She is survived by her mother Weemus Wilder and father Tyrone Burke, brother Jordon Wilder, sisters, Allison (Royce LaFramboise) Wilder, Jaymie (Dan Mays) Wilder, Marisa Wilder (Kruz Preciado, Sr.), Tyra Wilder, Jared and Alyssa Burke, her significant other Douglas Wynne, The Wilders and extended family from AZ, Jim Richards (Jan), Clarissa Nichols, Marcella Roth, Mike Burke, Marlin Burke and Rueban Gopher, Shanon Burke, Athena Bigby and Chimeco Martinez and cousins, Larinda Nichols, Raymond Nichols, JD Nichols, Woody RedCloud, Lacey (Mitch) Burke, Parker and Vanessa (Randy) Burke Finley, Leonard Burke, (Molly), Sonny (Alisha) Burke, Francios Burke, Corrine Roth, Cassie Harris, Ceta Harris, Kunu (Carli) Roth and numerous others.

There will be a wake beginning at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Elmo Hall with a Rosary at 8:00 P.M., and a funeral service on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Dayton Cemetery.
