Donald Allen Bick

Don Bick, age 72, passed away May 4, 2025, at St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula. Don was the oldest son of Charles and Delores Bick. He was the oldest of six children.

Don was an excellent athlete. He loved playing football and running track. He was proud to be a MSU Bobcat. “Go Cats!” He was a member of the AGR fraternity.

Don graduated from Charlo High School in 1971. He graduated from MSU with an Ag Business degree. Then MSU Billings with an Elementary Education degree. He worked for Parker Livestock. Then he taught at Blue Creek School in Billings and then at Dayton Elementary. He retired in 2013. He loved to volunteer at many things. He especially loved the New Life Church Wood Ministry and the Council on Aging Food Commodities.

Don married the love of his life Kristy on August 8, 1981. They met on a blind date. They were blessed to have 2 children Matthew and Brandy. Two beautiful granddaughters, Nina and Zay, were the apple of his eye.

Don and Kristy loved to travel, especially to Yellowstone, Glacier, and Hawaii. He loved to fish and loved going with family members. He was a Rockhound and loved Rodeo’s, especially Bull Riding.

Don was known for his great smile, kind heart, and sense of humor. He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.

Don is survived by his wife, Kristy of almost 44 years, his mother and stepdad Delores and Jim Rogers, his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Paula, daughter Brandy, son-in-law Zach Watson, granddaughters Nina “Bug” and Zay “Roo”, his bothers Wally and Rob, and sisters Theresa Johnston and Barbie Stipe. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and more. He is preceded in death by his father Charles and brother Rich.

There will be a Memorial to celebrate Don’s life on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at New Life Church, Polson, Montana at 1:00 pm.
