Erin Beth Trogden (Bennett) passed away May 7, 2026, due to complication she endured during a heart ablation procedure.
Erin was born February 24, 1981, to JDavid and Donna Bennett in Carson City Michigan. Erin moved to Montana with her family when she was 6 years old.
Erin had several opportunities to work in a variety of fields but found her calling as a pharmacy technician. She loved helping others and cherished the opportunity to guide people through the often confusing and challenging field of medical insurance.
Erin's love for her lord and savior Jesus Christ was known by many. She loved going to church, Bible study every Thursday and church retreats where she had the opportunity to grow in her relationship with her lord.
Erin's greatest accomplishments were her children. She loved all of her kids and opened her heart and home to several kids that "became hers" through James, Abi, Corbin and Alex's friendships and relationships.
When Erin was blessed with the title of Gramm-E through the birth of her grandson Tate her love exploded and was a true gift to everyone around her to watch how she loved. To say that Erin will be missed is an understatement that will be felt through not just her family but her community.
Erin was reunited with her father "Bubba", brother David, mother-in-law Lori and can now meet her stepson Bradley who passed away prior to her marriage.
She is survived through her husband Derek, children James (Trinity) Abigayle (Evan) Corbin and Alex, grandson Tate, mother Donna, sister Meagan (Angela), father-in-law Tom (Penny), sister-in-law's Christine (Seth) and Kristen, brother-in-law's Matthew and Brandon, several nieces and nephews and a very "best friend" Julyn Dewitt.
Erin's services will be held at Terrace Lake Community Church located at 35663 Terrace Lake Rd, Ronan, MT on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am with reception following. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12th from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory.
