Gayle Debra (Winger) Miller

June 9, 1953 — July 23, 2022

Debbie Miller went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2022. Debbie was born in Denver CO June 9, 1953, as Gayle Debra Winger. Her parents were Norman and Gayle Winger. She was named by her older brother Roy who was 17. Her brothers were essentially raised when she was born. She grew up on the Lake on the East Shore of Polson.

During her early years she and her parents lived in Pakiston as her father was a lineman. She learned the language Urdu before she developed a total grasp of English. She and her mother returned as it was creating health problems for both of them. One of her classmates has a memory of her coming to school for Halloween party in a Japanese costume where with her unique coloring appeared perfect. She then graduated with honors from Polson High School in 1971. She then attended Kinmen Business University Spokane WA, receiving a degree in fashion merchandising. After graduation she married the love of her life Adrian Miller on March 25, 1972.

While she didn't use the Fashion part of her Kinmen diploma, she did use the marketing portion during later years. She became a lady truck driver with a handle Copycat. She developed a lifetime enjoyment of antiques and was active in acquiring and then at times selling in an antique mall in Nevada. A move had been made from California to Nevada for Economic opportunities. Cheechako (greenhorn) Trucking Company was born. The economic downturn creating a move to Louisiana and Texas. In 2011 the final move was made to Oklahoma. Debbie had developed a significant rheumatoid arthritis issue by this time. She was unable to drive her truck and stayed at home keeping the home fires burning and doing what she could to assist her husband in their trucking business. She loved nothing better than searching and finding the "good" deal. She remained dedicated to her religious beliefs and was active in that area.

She was preceded by her parents, her sister-in-law, Lila (Sam) and her nephew Eric Winger.

She is survived by her husband of 50+ years Adrian; two brothers Ted and Roy; and in-laws Neva Anderson, Eloise and Hilding Johnson, Arlo and Marion Miller, Lowell and Kathleen Miller.
