Geraldine Elizabeth “Jeri” Stephens passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home in Polson on Wednesday, October 19, 2021.
Jeri was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on September 15, 1938, to Arnold and Sally Olson. She married Bob Welty and had one child, Keith.
Jeri worked for Mountain Bell in Missoula, and later worked many years for Blackfoot Telephone as an Office Manager. She married Wayne Stephens on September 24, 1983.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, brother Roger and step-grandson, Brandon.
She is survived by her son Keith, brother Paul (Chris) Olson and sister-in-law Shirley Olson, granddaughter Hannah, grandson Dylan, and step granddaughter Kendra. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson.
