Guy Dale Bleazard

December 27, 1961 — April 20, 2022

Guy Dale Bleazard, age 60, passed away at his home on April 20, 2022. Our spontaneous and fun-loving father, friend, brother, uncle, and grandfather. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a kind smile. He was born December 27, 1961, to Grant Wayne and Donna Joyce Hubner Bleazard in Murray, Utah (a birthdate he shared with his grandfather Mark Vincent Bleazard).

Guy spent most of his childhood and formative years in the rural community of Granger, Utah. As a youngster, he attended Whittier and Monroe Elementary, then Westlake Jr. High. He was a graduate of Granger High School in 1980, where he excelled in math and science. He was a devoted athlete and competed in track and baseball. He was a decorated Eagle Scout, supported by his parents and local troop.

Upon graduation from high school, Guy served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Billings, Montana, from 1980-to 1982. His quick wit, charming personality, and good looks (which he’d never let you forget), could win just about anyone over! He was always the life of the party and brought joy and happiness to those he loved.

Guy had a great love for animals, such as his dogs, Lazy and Chaucer, and his parrot named Ozzie. Whatever new creature needed a home, Guy always had space and love! He was the consummate fun-Uncle and grandpa who enjoyed sharing his animals with his nieces, nephews and grandchildren—and always loved giving them a new toy, trinket, or quick ride in his car with his favorite oldies on the radio.
On June 21, 1985, Guy married Terry Atwood at his childhood home in Utah. Together they had two boys, Randy Wayne and Tyler Scott. They later divorced.

On February 17, 1990, Guy married Lisa Hardy. Together, they started a successful stonemasonry business in Utah, where he was known for his creativity and beautiful craftsmanship. He was always eager to help others, from side jobs to construction work, he could build just about anything. Together they had one daughter, Brittnie Ann and he became a stepfather to Amanda Sharece Hardy. They later divorced.

On January 12, 2001, Guy married Sandi Jo Williams. Together they had two daughters, Kassi Jo and Donna Joyce and he became a stepfather to Brianna Rae and Brock Oman. They later divorced.

Guy had a passionate love affair with ice cream, butterfinger candy bars, and any quick sweet snack from the gas station, he truly did enjoy the little things in life. Guy was always one to give his time and unconditional love to make sure all his children had what they needed even if he had to give the shirt off his own back or his last five dollars, he would make sure that happened before anyone went without.

He was loved more than he knows, and he will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grant Wayne Bleazard and his mother, Donna Joyce Hubner Bleazard and his infant sister.

Guy “Buzz” was the youngest of four children and is survived by his siblings Randy (Deb) Bleazard, Vickie (Mark) Freeman, and Mike (Marlous) Bleazard. He is also survived by his children, Randall Wayne Bleazard, Tyler Scott Bleazard, Brittnie Ann Bleazard, Kassi Jo Bleazard, Donna Joyce Bleazard, and his Stepchildren, Amanda Hardy, Brianna Rae Tarnutzer, and Brock Oman.

He was a loving grandfather to three grandsons, Bentley, Alex and Adan and two beautiful granddaughters, Oaklynn and Isabella.

“Dear God, please sit here with us and grant us strength in our sorrow. Help us to remember. Let us remember the natural peace his presence gave. Help us remember the kindness in his heart, generosity of his spirit, and sincerity of his kindness. God, please let our father know that although it broke our hearts to lose him, he didn't go alone, part of us went with him the day you called him home.

Guy will be honored in a lake side celebration of life on April 27, 2022, in Polson, Montana surrounded by his children and loved ones.
