Joyce Elaine Buchholdt, age 78, of Elmo Montana, passed away on Sunday Feb 22, 2026 at St Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT of natural causes. She was born Feb 27, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Francis N. Tuttle and Coral Genevieve (Brown) Tuttle.

On Nov 13, 1986, she married Kim Buchholdt in Salt Lake City. For the past 40 years, she was a loving wife devoted to Kim. The couple moved to Montana in 2001, purchased the Big Arm General store, and fell in love with Montana.

Her favorite pastime was driving in her vintage neon yellow Corvette with the top down. She loved her orange cats and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by her husband Kim Buchholdt, her brother Allen R. Tuttle, her sisters Kristine Anderson, and Coral J. England, and her stepdaughters Melitta Buchholdt-Lueck, and Liane Buchholdt.
