Karl David Salmonson

Karl David Salmonson, age 89, died peacefully May 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson, Montana. He was born April 10, 1931 in Great Falls, Montana to Joel and Olga Salmonson and grew up on the Fairfield Bench. He married Cora (Snider) Salmonson June 2, 1953 in Fairfield, Montana.
His love was for the land through farming and gardening, liked fixing and repairing things, and making something out of nothing.
Karl was preceded in death by his son Kelly.
He is survived by his wife Cora, sister Karen, brother Jon, son Kyle (Sai), daughter Kathy (Karl), grandsons Kai and Keio (Abbie) and great grandson Ari as well as many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson.
His ashes will be interred at the Lakeview Cemetery in Polson.
