Lori Renea (Aldrich) Sebestin was called to the heavens January 1, 2026, at the age of 70, at St. Patrick Hospital with loved one’s present, due to complications after surgery. She was born on November 25, 1955, in Spokane, Washington to George Donald Aldrich and Lovella Joan (Courville) Hawkins.
Lori was an enrolled tribal member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe. She resided in Pablo for the last two years. She was well known for her beautiful Star Quilts that she made with love and enthusiasm over the years and her years as a caseworker for the tribe and state, family advocate for tribal early childhood education.
She met the love of her life Joe Sebestin in January 1992. They were married on September 20, 1996, at the Lake County Justice of Peace, had a small reception lunch and both went back to work as this wasn’t either 1st time. Together they lived a long happy life until Joe's passing November 16, 2013, of terminal cancer.
After the passing of her husband, she enrolled in SKC Fine Arts program and completed her Associate’s Degree with her daughter. They were known as the dynamic duo. She also holds an Associate Degree in Social Services.
She is survived by her five wonderful children; four boys; Micheal W. Bisson, Toby R. Bisson, Jeremy P. Bisson, Uriah C. Bisson, and her daughter Candace J. Aldrich, and two other children Damon Sebestin and Micky Bourdon, her grandchildren; Brayleighna, Shylei, Ryeley, Tyler, Jacob, Lillian, Joseph, Vanessa, Michael, Marshal, Denver, Lane, Elijah, Faith, Briala, Jasmin, Ryken, Sammy, Hailey, Cheyenne and multiple great grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings; Tammie Jo Gaurdipee, Cindy McPherson, Dawne Scott, Kieth Hawkins, and Cory Hawkins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; George Aldrich, Joan and Chuck Hawkins, her husband Joe Sebestin, her siblings Gina Ely and Kevin Aldrich, and her grandsons Braydon and Forest.
A visitation of goodbyes will be held January 6, 2026, at The Lake Funeral Home in Polson, MT from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.
