Obituary for Phyllis Beverly Anderson

Phyllis B. Anderson, age 94, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson. She was born on January 10, 1923 in Fountain Village, MN the daughter of Jack C. and Louise (Luedtke) Orr.

When she was three years old, the family moved to Arlee, MT where she attended school. She began her family in Arlee and had three children. She later moved to Missoula where she became an exceptional floral designer and later remarried and had three more children. She worked as a floral designer for many years. She later met and married Alan M. Anderson and they spent 29 happy years together. Following her retirement, she became a very talented artist which she enjoyed until her passing.

She and Alan retired to Polson enjoying their beautiful surroundings.
Phyllis loved working in her garden, feeding the deer, her daily walks with her beloved dog Sadie, and the many visits from family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Myron Orr, son LeRoy Lafrinire, her husband Alan Anderson and her son in law Bill Watson.

She is survived by her son Lou Lafrinire, daughters, Nancy Watson, Patty Fassbender (Malcolm), Kathy Pleasant (Dave) and Susan Shannan (Tom DeTonancour) and daughter in law Janet Lafrinire and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Phyllis will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Polson Community Church.
