Stephanie Rose Gravelle Wise Spirit

June 20, 1986 — November 22, 2023

Elmo

Stephanie Rose Gravelle was born in Polson, MT, on June 20, 1986, to Annette Tenas and Victor Gravelle. She spent her childhood in and around Elmo, playing outdoors with her many cousins and friends.  Her favorite sport was kickball.  She always loved riding in the woods with her Grandpa Nick and Aunty / Grandma Bean.  Family, the outdoors, and anything purple were her loves. She will be greatly missed by many people - most of all her daughter Breena Rae Rose Mad Plume, her mother Annette, and husband Benji Wise Spirit.  Also missing her are her sisters Tiffany Gravelle, Keesha Morigeau and Chassity Johnson, and all of the nieces and nephews.  Her big, loving family of aunties, uncles, and cousins are all going to miss her, including her little dog Peppy.

Stephanie went to school in Polson, Bonners Ferry, ID, and to Two Eagle.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Brian Mad Plume, her father, Victor Russell Gravelle, cousins Richard Nichols, Joe Martinez, and Shawn Bigby, grandparents Nick Gravelle, Thomas and Annie Tenas, and aunties and uncles-Alvina Tenas, Ronald Lee Tenas, Nathan Anthony Tenas, and many others.

Stephanie was a caring person with big heart. She loved her family fiercely, including her relatives in Canada. She always looked out for her mom and daughter, and cared for other people as well, including Papa Bear Jason Conn.  She was proud of her job at Town Pump. She loved working there, enjoyed her co-workers, and the car she was buying.
