Taylor Hunter Ivins

Taylor Hunter Ivins (Eagle Eyes), a member of the Salish and Kootenai Tribes of Montana was welcomed into the Glorious Kingdom by his twin sister Whisper and oldest brother Dylan on June 8, 2026.

Known to his loved ones as “Taye”, "Tayebug” “Taye Taye”, “Baby Blue Eyes” and “Eagle Eyes’ Taylor was a cherished son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend who endured his way through life and was a wilderness soul child.

Taylor was born in Kalispell, Montana and raised in Ronan, Montana, and graduated from Ronan High School in 2013. During his younger years, he was the kid that had the dreams of being a true entrepreneur. You would often find him and his close buddies selling lemonade or baked goods on the street corner. He was known in school for his success of being the kid that would be the door to door salesman. He often would say, I’m gonna be the one who invents the money tree.

He was a lover of the outdoors life, an avid auto enthusiast and enjoyed his arts and crafts. He would often be attending races and outdoor activities with his best buddies, Aaron and Brandon. Taye was also a huge fan of fishing and being on the water. He loved fishing and anytime he could be near a fishing line, he’d be down. Taylor was also a huge Seahawk fan, always giving thanks to his papa Hunter for enduring his love of the sport. He often reflected on his times going to Seattle and attending the games and had said one day he will marry a Sea-gal. He was very passionate for his team and he also said he bled Blue and Green. Taylor shared a passion of Bob Marley music as he loved his Grandmother and his cousin Alaysha dearly, whom he would often share moments from Hiking to Hot Springing.

Taylor in his later life, enjoyed spending time with his family, both near and far, and also was a helping hand to many, in all areas, from Construction, His woodworking, to Maintenance, to his love of Arts and Crafts to being a Handyman at building an engine. Taylor received his certification in Auto Mechanics in 2021.

Taylor was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Michael Ivins, Joseph Hunter, Jeanette Matt: His twin sister and best friend, Whisper Ivins, his brother, Dylan Ivins and his Uncle and Aunt Vern and Chris Mills. 

Taylor's immediate family survivors include His father,Carl Ivins, his mother, Jodi Hunter, his sisters, Alivia and Mara Ramirez; his brother, Michael Ramirez; his aunts and uncles, Danny and Henry Hunter, Travis and Justin Ivins, Jennifer Ivins, and LaDonna Julies; and numerous cousins and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

Tayebug will be deeply remembered for his helping hands and his compassion for humanity. He was always humble and offer anyone his last dollar, a cup of joe or a place to stay. Taye was always the cutest blue-eyed bug ever!!!

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at The Lake Funeral Home in Polson.
