Pablo - Trevor Daniel Gardipe, affectionately known as “Chubbs” to those who loved him, passed away on February 24, 2026. As he entered the spirit world, he was welcomed into the loving arms of his mother and reunited with his beloved brother, Drey. We take comfort in knowing they are together again—driving the mountain roads side by side, sharing laughter, stories, and the cherished memories that will forever live on in our hearts.
Trevor was born on March 3, 1996, to Danelle Tenas and Tim Gardipe. He was Danelle’s one and only baby and Tim’s youngest baby—a role he carried with pride and deep love.
Trevor spent much of his childhood in Elmo with his Auntie Dana and family, where some of his most meaningful memories were made. He was raised right alongside his cousins as a brother. They grew up side by side, sharing adventures, laughter, lessons, and strong bonds.
Trevor had a profound love for the outdoors. From a very young age, he showed an incredible sense of direction and comfort in the mountains and woods. He was often the one guiding the adults he was with, confidently telling them how to find their way back. The outdoors was where he felt most at home. He spent countless hours cutting wood, hiking, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles with his dad out at Buffalo Bridge.
At the time of his passing, Trevor was enrolled at Salish Kootenai College, working toward his CDL and Heavy Equipment certification. He had big plans for his future and was working hard every day to better his life. He pursued those goals with hard work and determination.
Trevor leaves behind his loving partner, Evy Franks, and her daughter, Lilly, whom he cared for deeply.
On his father’s side, he leaves behind his father, Tim Gardipe; his uncle Raymond Gardipe; his aunts Arlene Gardipe Brown (Preston), Zelda Gardipe Charlo (Charles), and Jeanne Gardipe; his sister Christina Gardipe; his brothers Christopher and Kevin Gardipe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
On his mother’s side, he leaves behind his papas Eddie Couture and Mike Kenmille; his aunts Dana Hewankorn, Danielle Lefthand, Shelly Olheiser, and Crystal Houle; his uncles Jerry (Trisha Johnson), Daniel Kenmille, Richie Tonasket, and Adrian Hewankorn; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Trevor was preceded in death by his mother, Danelle Tenas; his grandma Earline Couture; his papa Danny Tenas; his auntie Danette Tenas; and his cousins Lela Perez, Drey Tenas, and Jordan and Caitlin Hewankorn.
On his father’s side, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Alice Marie “Abby” (Morigeau) Gardipe and Raymond E. Gardipe Sr.; and his cousins Lyle R. Zeiler, Winston Brown, Victor Brown, Payton Mays, Johnny Morigeau, Belinda Assiniboine, and Lyle G. Zeiler
Trevor’s adventurous spirit, his love for the mountains, and his deep devotion to his family will never be forgotten. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is now at peace, reunited with those who passed before him, driving the mountain roads together once again—laughing, remembering, and watching over all of us who love him.
