Vicki Jo May

Vicki Jo (Peterson) May was born July 29, 1954, in Preston, Idaho, to Deverl J. and Marjorie Jo Peterson. She was the oldest of three children.

The Peterson family moved to Calgary, Alberta, in June 1956. Vicki graduated from Lord Beaverbrook High School in 1970 and attended Brigham Young University for one year.

Vicki married Edward Alfred May in 1979 and lived in Calgary. They were blessed with two sons, Danial Edward May and Douglas Peterson May.

Vicki passed away on May 21, 2026, at Logan Health Hospital in Kalispell, MT.

She was preceded in death by her spouse in 1999 and by her two brothers, Robert in 2009 and Kelly John in 2017, and her mother, Marjorie in 2019. Vicki is survived by her sons, Danial (Nikki) and Douglas, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father, Deverl J. Peterson of Dayton, MT.

Vicki’s Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Polson, Montana. Friends and family may visit after the service at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lakeside, MT.
